(a) An assignment for Architectural Design I or Architectural Design II, Grades 9-12, is allowed with one of the following certificates.(1) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 6-12.(2) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 8-12.(3) Secondary Industrial Arts (Grades 6-12).(4) Secondary Industrial Technology (Grades 6-12).(5) Technology Education: Grades 6-12.(6) Trade and Industrial Education: Grades 6-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(7) Trade and Industrial Education: Grades 8-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(8) Trade and Industrial Workforce Training: Grades 6-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(9) Vocational Trades and Industry. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(b) Subject to the requirements in subsection (c) of this section, an assignment for Practicum in Architectural Design or Extended Practicum in Architectural Design, Grades 9-12, is allowed with one of the following certificates.(1) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 6-12.(2) Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering: Grades 8-12.(3) Secondary Industrial Arts (Grades 6-12).(4) Secondary Industrial Technology (Grades 6-12).(5) Technology Education: Grades 6-12.(6) Trade and Industrial Education: Grades 6-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(7) Trade and Industrial Education: Grades 8-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(8) Trade and Industrial Workforce Training: Grades 6-12. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(9) Vocational Trades and Industry. This assignment requires appropriate work approval.(10) Any home economics or homemaking certificate.(11) Family and Consumer Sciences, Composite: Grades 6-12.(c) The school district is responsible for ensuring that each teacher assigned to Practicum in Architectural Design or Extended Practicum in Architectural Design, Grades 9-12, has completed appropriate training in state and federal requirements regarding work-based learning and safety.
