SECTION/RULE §5.74 - Surrender of Registration

(a) A Registered Interior Designer may voluntarily surrender his/her registration by submitting to the Board a written notice of the voluntary surrender that has been signed by the Registered Interior Designer. The voluntary surrender of a registration shall invalidate the registration. A registration that has been voluntarily surrendered may be reinstated in the manner described in §5.76 of this title (relating to Reinstatement).(b) Upon receipt of written notice from the Board requiring the surrender of a certificate of registration that has been suspended or revoked pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Board, a Registered Interior Designer or former Registered Interior Designer shall immediately surrender his/her certificate of registration in the manner prescribed in the notice.
