(a) A person may represent himself/herself or be represented by an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas.(b) A party's attorney of record shall remain the attorney of record in the absence of a formal request to withdraw and an order of the judge approving the request.(c) Notwithstanding the above, a party may expressly waive the right to assistance of counsel.
