SECTION/RULE §226.6 - Monitoring and Evaluating Patient Safety Pilot Programs

(a) All patient safety pilot programs shall be subject to monitoring and evaluating by the Board to ensure compliance with the criteria of this rule and obtain evidence that research goals are being pursued.(b) The Board may require that the entity conducting a patient safety pilot program under this rule reimburse the Board for the cost of monitoring and evaluating the patient safety pilot program.(c) The Board may contract with a third party to perform the monitoring and evaluating of patient safety pilot programs.(d) The Board may arrange for a patient safety pilot program to directly reimburse a third party for monitoring and evaluating of a patient safety pilot program.
