(a) The filing fee for the initial filing of the application of intent to take the UCPAE will be established by the board. This is a non-refundable fee.(b) A military service member or military veteran, who qualifies to take the UCPAE, is exempt from the initial filing of the application of intent fee.(c) A military service member, military veteran, or military spouse who holds a current license by a substantially equivalent jurisdiction is exempt from the initial filing fee.(d) The exemption from the initial filing fee must be evidenced by an active ID, dependent ID, state-issued driver's license with a veteran designation or DD214.
