(a) The chair will preside at all meetings at which he or she is in attendance and perform all duties prescribed by law or this chapter.(b) The chair is authorized by the board to make day-to-day decisions regarding board activities in order to facilitate the responsiveness and effectiveness of the board.(c) The vice-chair will perform the duties of the chair in case of the absence or disability of the chair.(d) In case the office of the chair becomes vacant, the vice-chair will serve until a successor is appointed.
