SECTION/RULE §681.9 - Committees

(a) The board or the chair may establish committees deemed necessary to fulfill board responsibilities.(b) The chair may appoint members of the board to serve on committees and will designate a chair for each committee.(c) Only members of the board may be appointed to a board committee.(d) Committee chairs will preside at all committee meetings and will make regular reports to the board.(e) Committees may direct all reports or other materials to the executive director or designee for distribution.(f) Committees will meet when called by the committee chair or when so directed by the board.(g) Each committee will consist of at least one public member and one professional member, unless the board chair or vice chair authorizes otherwise.
