(a) The board and/or the board chair may establish board committees, advisory committees and task forces.(b) The board chair shall appoint members of the board to serve on board committees and shall appoint the board committee chairs. The board chair may invite others to serve on advisory committees and task forces.(c) Only members of the board may be appointed to board committees.(d) Committee chairs shall make regular reports to the board at regular meetings.(e) Committees shall meet when called by the committee chair or when so directed by the board or the board chair.(f) Each committee shall consist of least one public member and one professional member, unless the board authorizes otherwise.
