SECTION/RULE §801.75 - Application for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate)

(a) Qualifications. An applicant for LMFT Associate must meet the qualifications required by §502.252(b) of the Act.(b) Application Requirements. An applicant must submit:(1) all requirements in council rules, 22 Texas Administrative Code, §§882.1 and 882.2 (concerning Application Process and General Application File Requirements);(2) Supervisory Agreement Form; and(3) proof of achieving a passing score on a licensure examination.(c) Academic Requirements. An applicant for LMFT Associate must meet the education requirements as prescribed in §801.112 of this title (relating to General Academic Requirements). Staff may require an applicant to submit a council-approved educational equivalency form.
