SECTION/RULE §850.82 - Dishonored Payment

(a) If a payment drawn to the TBPG for an initial license, certification or registration or the renewal of a license, certification, or registration is dishonored by a payor, the TBPG shall take the following actions:(1) Notify the applicant or licensee of the issue and request resolution of the payment, plus the insufficient funds fee in §851.80 of this title within 30 days;(2) Invalidate any new or renewed license, certification, or registration that was processed based on the payment that was dishonored, if the payment has not been resolved within 30 days of the sending or receipt of the notice, as applicable.(b) If any other payment to the TBPG is dishonored by a payor, the TBPG will take appropriate steps as determined by the Executive Director.
