(a) A Professional Geoscientist, a Geoscientist-in-Training, or Geoscience Firm shall not practice or offer to practice geoscience in any governmental jurisdiction in which to do so would be in violation of a law regulating the practice of geoscience in that jurisdiction.(b) A Professional Geoscientist who fails to renew his/her license prior to its annual expiration date shall not use the title, "Professional Geoscientist" or the initials, "P.G." and shall not offer to or engage in the public practice of professional geoscience or otherwise engage in activities that require a license until after the Professional Geoscientist's license has been properly renewed.(c) A Geoscience Firm that fails to renew its Geoscience Firm registration prior to its annual expiration date shall not use the title, "Geoscience Firm" and shall not offer to or engage in the public practice of geoscience as defined by the Texas Occupations Code §1002.002 until after the Geoscience Firm's registration has been properly renewed.(d) A Geoscientist-in-Training who fails to renew his/her certification prior to its annual expiration date shall not use the title, "Geoscientist-in-Training" until after the Geoscientist-in-Training's certification has been properly renewed.
