(a) Name. The State Board of Dental Examiners, referred to as the "board," is a decision-making board appointed by the governor of the State of Texas in compliance with Chapter 252 of the Occupations Code, and the Texas Constitution.(b) Location. The administrative offices shall be located in Austin, Texas.(c) Legal authority. The board is established pursuant to Occupations Code, Chapter 252.(d) Composition. The board shall be composed of those persons appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the senate.(e) Fiscal year. For all fiscal and administrative purposes, the reporting year of the board shall be identical to that of the State of Texas.
