(a) Additional references may be required of the applicant when the executive director finds it necessary to adequately verify the applicant's experience or character. The board and/or staff may at their discretion communicate with any reference or seek additional information.(b) The board may post the names of applicants on the board website and receive information regarding an applicant from the regulated community and general public. The board members and staff may, at their discretion, rely on any, all, or none of the public comments received in connection with an application for licensure.
