SECTION/RULE §133.67 - Examination on the Principles and Practice of Engineering

(a) The examination on the principles and practice of engineering is open only to licensed engineers who wish to take the examination for record purposes and to applicants who have received board approval to take it. Applicants who are granted certification as an Engineer-in-Training in accordance with §133.1 of this chapter (relating to Engineer-in-Training Designation) or submit equivalent qualifications at the time of application for licensure shall be approved to take the examination on the principles and practice of engineering.(b) An applicant approved to take the examination on the principles and practice of engineering:(1) shall be advised of the date he or she is eligible.(2) shall schedule to test in any area of competency appropriate to his or her experience or education.(3) shall be solely responsible for timely scheduling for the examination and any payment of examination fees.(c) The examination on the principles and practice of engineering shall be offered according to the schedule determined by the NCEES or by the board.
