SECTION/RULE §153.12 - Criminal History Checks

(a) An applicant or license holder applying for or renewing a license issued by the Board must submit a complete and legible set of fingerprints, in a manner approved by the Board, to the Board, the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Texas Department of Public Safety, or other authorized entity for the purpose of obtaining criminal history record information from the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.(b) The Board will conduct a criminal history check of each applicant for a license or renewal of a license.
