SECTION/RULE §161.40 - Medical License

(a) In accordance with §§155.001 and 151.056 of the Act, all physicians must hold a full Texas medical license to practice in Texas, including physicians practicing telemedicine.(b) Subsection (a) of this section does not apply to the following:(1) physicians who meet the exceptions set forth in §151.056(b) of the Act;(2) physicians who are exempt pursuant to §151.0521 of the Act; and(3) physicians who hold a temporary or limited license issued under Chapter 155 of the Act.
