SECTION/RULE §169.14 - Limits on Off-Line Medical Control

(a) If the medical control is provided as an off-line medical director, the medical director may not supervise more than 20 emergency medical service (EMS) providers unless a written request for a waiver is submitted to the board on the board approved form.(b) Once received, the board will forward the waiver request to the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). If approved, the board will update the registration as appropriate.
