(a) In addition to the requirements of §154.056(e) of the Act, an expert reviewer must also hold a current certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties, the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists, or the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the time of appointment as an expert reviewer.(b) The term of service of an expert reviewer is until:(1) resignation; or(2) removal for cause.
