(a) An Acudetox certificate may be issued in accordance with §205.303 of the Act, and the applicant must submit:(1) a board required application form;(2) the required fee of $52.00, and additional fees and surcharges as applicable;(3) proof of completion of auricular acupuncture at least 70 hours in length that includes a clean needle technique course or equivalent universal infection control precaution procedures course; and(4) other documentation deemed necessary to process an application.(b) In accordance with §205.303(d) of the Act, a certificate may be renewed by submitting:(1) a board required renewal form;(2) payment of the renewal fee of $262.50, and additional fees and surcharges as applicable;(3) completing at least three hours of Continuing Auricular Acupuncture Education for Acudetox Specialists and other courses are designated or otherwise approved for credit by the board; and(4) other documentation deemed necessary to process a renewal.(c) Failure to renew certificate before expiration date but less than a year will be a $25.00 fee plus the required renewal fee.(d) Certificates expired for a year are automatically canceled.
