The following examinations with a passing score are acceptable:(1) American Board of Surgical Assistants;(2) National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) formerly known as Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST); or(3) the National Surgical Assistant Association provided that the exam was administered on or after March 29, 2003.
