SECTION/RULE §271.153 - Recertification

(a) To continue receiving services, the client must meet the CCAD eligibility requirements at the time of recertification of financial eligibility and reassessment of needs.(b) An applicant whose services were terminated in the past due to his or someone in his home being a threat to the health or safety of the client, department staff, or provider agency staff may be authorized services if the applicant signs a form authorizing release of information, and:(1) The applicant/person in the home who posed the threat has been treated or is receiving treatment by a licensed or certified physician, psychiatrist, or psychologist and can furnish a letter saying that he is no longer a threat to himself or others; or(2) The applicant/person in the home allows a collateral contact with his physician, psychiatrist, or psychologist, and the contact indicates that the applicant is no longer a threat to himself or others; or(3) The person in the home who posed the threat no longer poses the threat.
