SECTION/RULE §307.51 - Purpose and Application

(a) The purpose of this subchapter is to implement the Home and Community-Based Services--Adult Mental Health (HCBS-AMH) program, providing home and community-based services to individuals with a serious mental illness who are eligible for or currently receiving Medicaid in accordance with the Medicaid state plan and applicable state legislative direction.(b) The subchapter applies to:(1) a person or entity contracting with HHSC to provide HCBS-AMH services, as described in this subchapter;(2) an entity having administrative responsibilities under this program; and(3) an individual applying for or enrolled in the HCBS-AMH program.
