SECTION/RULE §320.101 - Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to reduce the use of restraint and seclusion as much as possible and to ensure that:(1) the least restrictive methods of intervention are used and that, wherever possible, alternatives are first attempted and determined ineffective; and(2) the rights and well-being of individuals are protected during the use of restraint or seclusion.
