SECTION/RULE §350.828 - Medical Review for ECI Services

The interdisciplinary team considers the child's medical history before planning services and throughout the child's enrollment. The IFSP team must:(1) review pertinent medical information before developing the IFSP;(2) request additional health information necessary to develop an appropriate plan of service;(3) delay or adjust the implementation procedures or services until the necessary health information is obtained and reviewed;(4) continue to review medical records that become available after enrollment; and(5) delay or adjust the implementation of procedures or service if the health or safety of the child is in jeopardy.
