(a) The contractor collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles as set by the family's insurance plan, up to the family's maximum charge. The maximum charge includes and is not in addition to co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.(b) HHSC absorbs any additional costs that exceed the family's maximum charge, including costs for services not covered by insurance, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
