SECTION/RULE §350.1433 - Billing Families for Individualized Family Service Plan Services

(a) The subrecipient must bill the family up to the family's maximum charge. (1) The total collection of payments, including third-party payment and the family's out-of-pocket payment, cannot exceed the actual cost of services. (2) The family's total out-of-pocket for the month cannot exceed the family's maximum charge. (b) A balance remaining unpaid by the parent 30 days after the bill date is delinquent unless the delay in payment is due to a delay in: (1) third-party reimbursement; or (2) notice of denial of a claim from a private or public third-party payor.
