SECTION/RULE §351.8 - Inpatient Rehabilitation Centers

(a) The program will reimburse only an approved inpatient rehabilitation center for services provided to clients.(b) The criteria for inpatient rehabilitation center approval include the following.(1) The center shall have current accreditation by either the Joint Commission as a comprehensive physical rehabilitation program or the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities as a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation program.(2) The center shall be located in Texas.(3) The center shall be located outside Texas, in the United States within 50 miles of the Texas border.
