A center must limit the information kept in a resident's or a nonresident's files to information necessary for:(1) statistical and funding purposes;(2) establishing goals for intervention and advocacy;(3) documenting the need for and delivery of services; and(4) protecting the liability of the center and its employees, volunteers, and board members.
