SECTION/RULE §356.707 - Residents' Medications

A center must develop, maintain, and comply with written policies and procedures regarding all prescribed and non-prescribed medications used by residents, including but not limited to:(1) self-administration of drugs and medications;(2) methods for safekeeping of drugs and medications;(3) staff's role relating to safekeeping of drugs and medications; and(4) a system that ensures adult residents have direct or immediate access to their own and their children's medication.
