If under the jurisdiction of the Drug-Free Workplace Act, a contractor must develop, maintain, and comply with a written drug and alcohol policy that includes the following:(1) prohibition of illegal use or illegal possession of alcohol or drugs while on duty;(2) a belief in a treatment and recovery approach;(3) a stated concern for employees and their recovery efforts;(4) information on available programs and systems for assistance; and(5) a statement of confidentiality.
