SECTION/RULE §358.101 - Purpose

The purpose of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Children's Autism Program is to provide autism services to children 3 through 15 years of age with an autism spectrum disorder. Services are provided through grant contracts with local community agencies and organizations utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or other treatment approaches. HHSC is authorized to implement the program only to the extent that funds are appropriated by the Texas Legislature.
