SECTION/RULE §363.5 - Eligibility of a County for State Assistance

(a) The Health and Human Services Commission (commission) establishes the eligibility requirements and internal procedures for a county applying for state assistance.(b) The commission determines a county's eligibility for state assistance.(c) To be eligible for state assistance under this chapter, a county must provide the following information for September 1 to August 31 of each fiscal year:(1) the taxable value of property taxable by the county;(2) the county's applicable general revenue tax levy; and(3) the amount of sales and use tax revenue received by the county.(d) A county must submit the information required by subsection (c) of this section:(1) according to commission guidelines in the program policy manual; and(2) by the deadline prescribed by the commission.
