SECTION/RULE §550.1217 - Laundry

Chapter Review Date (a) A center must have a supply of clean linen sufficient to meet the needs of a minor. Clean laundry must be provided by:(1) an in-house laundry service;(2) contract with another health care center; or(3) an outside commercial laundry service.(b) A center must handle, store, process, and transport laundry in a manner to prevent the spread of infection in accordance with §550.210 of this chapter (relating to Sanitation, Housekeeping, and Linens).
