SECTION/RULE §551.63 - Fire Service

(a) The facility must be served by a paid or volunteer fire department. The fire department must provide written assurance to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission that the fire department can respond to an emergency at the facility.(b) Water supply for firefighting purposes must be as required and approved by the firefighting unit.(c) The facility must have an annual inspection by the local fire marshal.
