RA facility licensed under this chapter may provide respite care for an individual who has a diagnosis of an intellectual disability or a related condition without regard to whether the individual is eligible to receive intermediate care services under federal law, according to a plan of care as provided under Texas Health and Safety Code, Chapter 252, Subchapter G (relating to Respite Care).
