SECTION/RULE §553.551 - When may HHSC suspend a license or order an immediate closing of all or part of a facility?

HHSC may suspend a license or order an immediate closing of all or part of a facility when:(1) the facility is operating in violation of the licensure rules; and(2) the violation creates an immediate threat to the health and safety of a resident.
