The Texas Health and Human Services may deny an application for a preceptor certification or a preceptor certification renewal for the following reasons:(1) the preceptor committed a violation listed in §555.54 of this chapter (relating to Rule or Statutory Violations); or(2) the preceptor was convicted of a crime listed in §555.41 of this chapter (relating to Licensure of Persons with Criminal Backgrounds).
