SECTION/RULE §558.846 - Services Provided Under a State Medicaid Personal Care Benefit

(a) If a client receives services under a state Medicaid personal care benefit, a hospice may use the services provided under the Medicaid personal care benefit to the extent the hospice would routinely use the services of a hospice client's family in implementing the client's plan of care.(b) The hospice must coordinate its hospice aide and homemaker services with the Medicaid personal care benefit to ensure that the client receives the hospice aide and homemaker services the client needs.
