SECTION/RULE §558.852 - Hospice Governing Body and Administrator

(a) The hospice must have a governing body that assumes full legal authority and responsibility for the management of the hospice, the provision of all hospice services, its fiscal operations, and continuous quality assessment and performance improvement.(b) The governing body must appoint an administrator who:(1) meets the qualifications and conditions specified in §558.244(a)(1) and (2) of this chapter (relating to Administrator Qualifications and Conditions and Supervising Nurse Qualifications); and(2) reports to the governing body or persons serving as the governing body.
