SECTION/RULE §564.1204 - Exits

(a) Every building shall have at least two well-separated exits on each story.(b) Every route of exit shall be free of hazards and obstructions, well lit, and marked clearly with illuminated exit signs at all times.(c) Rooms for 50 or more people shall have exit doors that swing out.(d) No door may require a key for emergency exit. Locked facilities shall have emergency exit door releases as described in the Life Safety Code and approved by the fire marshal.
