SECTION/RULE §742.303 - What general responsibilities do caregivers have?

Primary and substitute caregivers:(1) Are responsible for seeing that children are:(A) Treated with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience;(B) Not abused, neglected, or exploited; and(C) Released only to a parent or a person designated by a parent;(2) Must demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control in the presence of children;(3) Must know and comply with the minimum standards specified in this chapter;(4) Must know each child's name and age;(5) Must supervise children at all times, as specified in §742.305 of this subchapter (relating to What does "supervise children at all times" mean?); and(6) Must interact with children in a positive manner.
