(a) If the operation allows a child to access a swimming pool at or away from the operation, annual water safety training is required for:(1) Each employee prior to accompanying a child to a swimming pool; and(2) Each site director and program director or operation director.(b) The training must be specific to water safety in and around swimming pools.(c) Water safety training is exclusive of any requirements for orientation, pre-service training, and annual training.
