You must develop policies on preventing, recognizing, and responding to abuse and neglect of children, including:(1) Required annual training for employees;(2) Methods for increasing employee awareness of issues regarding child abuse and neglect, including warning signs that a child may be a victim of abuse or neglect;(3) Methods for increasing employee awareness of prevention techniques for child abuse and neglect;(4) Strategies for coordination between the operation and appropriate community organizations; and(5) Actions that the parent of a child who is a victim of abuse or neglect should take to obtain assistance and intervention.
