(a) With the exception of emergency behavior intervention training, each person must complete the annual training:(1) Within 12 months from when you hire the person; and(2) During each subsequent 12-month period after the anniversary date of hire.(b) Alternately, you have the option of prorating the person's annual training requirements from the date of hire to the end of the calendar year or the end of the operation's fiscal year and then beginning a new 12-month period that coincides with the calendar or fiscal year.(c) Whether you use subsection (a) or (b) of this section as your method for completing annual training requirements, you must use the method consistently throughout your operation.
