SECTION/RULE §748.3115 - How often must I inspect and service the fire extinguisher(s)?

You must inspect the fire extinguisher(s) monthly and ensure:(1) There will be no interference with access to the extinguisher in an emergency, for example, there are no objects blocking access;(2) Fire extinguishers are accessible for immediate use by employees, caregivers, and volunteers; and(3) Fire extinguishers are serviced as required by manufacturer's instructions, or as required by the state or local fire inspector.
