SECTION/RULE §748.3861 - What are the requirements for toilet facilities during overnight camping excursions?

(a) If the campsite is not provided with toilet facilities, pit privies or other portable toilets, there must be separate designated areas for each gender for toilet use.(b) Toilet paper must be available at all times, as needed.(c) Privies must be located at least:(1) 20 feet from any stream, lake, well, spring, or other water supply; and(2) 75 feet from the camp, tent, sleeping, or housing arrangement.(d) Soap and water for hand washing must be located within 20 feet of the toilet areas.
