SECTION/RULE §748.4833 - What qualifications must a treatment director for a psychiatric residential youth treatment facility have?

A treatment director who provides or oversees psychiatric health treatments and services under this subchapter must:(1) Be a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist, or physician;(2) Have a master's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and three years of experience providing treatment services for children or young adults with an emotional disorder, including one year in a residential setting; or(3) Be a licensed master social worker, licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, or licensed marriage and family therapist, and have three years of experience providing treatment services for children or young adults with an emotional disorder, including one year in a residential setting.
