SECTION/RULE §748.4861 - Whom may a psychiatric residential youth treatment facility (PRYTF) admit for psychiatric health treatments and services?

A PRYTF may only admit an individual for psychiatric health treatments and services who:(1) Is 21 years of age or younger;(2) Has been diagnosed with a severe emotional disturbance by a licensed mental health professional;(3) Requires residential psychiatric treatment under the direction of a licensed physician to improve the individual's condition; and(4) Was referred for treatment or services in a PRYTF by a licensed mental health professional.
