SECTION/RULE §749.1339 - How often must I re-evaluate the intellectual functioning of a child receiving treatment services for intellectual disabilities?

(a) Each child's intellectual functioning must be re-evaluated at least every three years by a psychologist qualified to provide psychological testing; or(b) A psychologist must determine the need and frequency for a specific child's intellectual functioning to be re-evaluated, such as a young child who may require more frequent testing. This determination, including justification for the time frame, must be documented in the child's record annually by the service planning team.
