SECTION/RULE §749.3747 - Is a visit to the home required when developing a post-placement adoptive report?

Yes. You must visit the home when all members of the household are present. You must document in the record the date, persons present, their relationship to the adoptive parents, and observations made during the visit. This visit is not required for a post-placement adoptive report when a foster family adopts a foster child who has been placed in that home at least six months.
